Advanced Technology Group was recently named the 2009 Business of the Year by the Columbia County Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

Founded in 1989 by Graham P. Ellison, Advanced Technology Group has operated as a computer/technology company for many years. As of 2007, ATG's focus shifted to include telecommunications, specifically in the Microwave Broadband arena. ATG has been successful in designing, deploying and maintaining a broadband network that spans over 5,000 square miles throughout the CSRA, providing high speed broadband service to the rural, underserved business markets. ATG has pioneered the "proof of concept" in regard to Microwave transport using Motorola technologies. ATG has a highly trained and experienced staff of Network Engineers and Consultants to assist our clients by understanding their requirements and knowing emerging technologies. ATG designs, specifies and installs information technology solutions - including IP telephony - for clients in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education and government - municipal, state and federal. ATG's product offering includes point to point data connections, Internet speeds up to 300Mbps, voice services, as well as traditional LAN support.
